VIDEO: Gatewood Maple Syrup

Gatewood Elementary students are getting a taste of outdoor learning!

Recently, Mr. Ike's second grade class tapped two sugar maple trees on the Gatewood property. The rest of the school helped finish turning the sap into syrup. Scholars tested their might physically and mentally using a variety of tools to engage in the scientific process.
